The new sprayers,
made for the black cartridges, such as the
#16, #70, and the #82,
force water through the print head,
allowing you to spot cartridges that are not
functioning to their full potential.
Using 1/5th
the water the old sprayers will allow you
to determine if some of the cartridges should
get further attention in your cleaning process.
Color cartridge sprayers will have a two
stage cleaning process.
First stage will dilute and remove the
existing ink while the second stage will force
water through the filters and nozzle, also
giving you that needed look at the nozzles
output. These
color sprayers will also use considerably less
water
than the older
models.

This unit
will spray a concentrated pattern of water
directly into the reservoir of 56 cartridges
at a time. The spraying time is approximately
15 to 20 minutes. Removing the filter screen
promotes the proper cleaning of these cartridges
by allowing access to dried or hardened
ink. The optional upper frame for this sprayer
allows you to spray the nozzle of the cartridge
from the outside. This sprayer has also
been tested to use low temperature steam
(under 275 degrees) as well as water.

the Lexmark Black Ink Cartridge. This sprayer
also has the upper Frame feature available.
